Mara is the creative director of Moorish Gypsy Dance Company in Cary, NC. Her specialty is Arab-Spanish Fusion and Gypsy style Bellydance. As an educator, her primary goal is preserving cultural dance and history, while promoting a positive and healthy body image for woman and young girls.

Our First Recital in North Carolina

This was our first mother/daughter class!! We started classes on January 2008 and we were ready to perform our dance by March 1, 2008 at Shimmy South 9. How excited and nervous we were. Everyone did a great job and looking forward to next year......
